  • Scanco specialises in outsourced scanning bureau services as well as Document Management and Imaging solutions, Scanco grew into the world class scanning solution provider.
  • Scanco converts traditional paper based information to electronic formats, and most importantly, manages and provides controlled access to the converted information via an easy to use frontend.
  • Scanco provides specialist consulting and guidance in the specification, supply and support of production, as well as, operational scanning equipment and software.
  • Scanco is the sole distributor of Orbit DMS, a fully web enabled document management solution, architected and developed locally under the Scanco banner. Orbit can be deployed as a hosted solution enabling endless benefits to the customer.

With an owned capacity of over 10 Million scans per month, Scanco is the leader in providing services in backlog conversions, on site and off site operational scanning services, using our proven technology and processes.

Our services include providing data management services, where the need for the conversion of large paper based archives into a well managed and easily accessible information repository are identified.

The conversion of paper-based information includes the preparation, scanning and data capturing and validation of documents into various electronic formats, and delivery to any recognised Document Management System. We also convert scanned images, using Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology, to provide ‘full text’ searchable documents.

Scanco focuses on providing these services on a bureau basis, as well as operational solutions, and with our wealth of expertise, aims to offer all our customers affordable solutions with speed and accuracy, emphasising “access to information!!!”
